Kendriya Vidyalaya, Garhwa is newly opened in 14/02/2007. It has a small building provided by espousing authority, with 13 rooms
(9 class rooms, 1 staff room, 1 library cum activity room, 1 Computer lab room, 1 Vidyalaya office principal’s chamber and 1 store room cum science lab. The development and beautification of Vidyalaya ground is in progress and Vidyalaya has been recently affiliated with CBSE and the achievement of teachers and students of the Vidyalaya has brought kudos to its prestige.
